Once again the Wildcats commit critical penalties and turnovers to lose 20-23. A fumble on a punt return, set up CU for game winning field goal. Ouch!!!! The Cats should have won last week and this week.

The Wildcats hurt themselves with turnovers and drop passes. The Purple Plague continues from last year. With four games left, the Wildcats chance of having a winning season is in jepardy. Wildcat fans will see if these young players fold up or rise to the occassion to turn the season around.

Stay Tuned for the conclusion.

Well Wildcat fans it’s a sad day for me. My streaking days are over. I will miss the my first Wildcat football game today in Lubbock, Texas. Last game I missed was 2003 game in Austin, Texas. I have attended the last bowl game in Tempe, Arizona. It’s like that song by Johnny Cash. “I’ve been every where man.” From Huntington, West Virginia to Boulder, Colorado to College Station, Texas to Lincoln, Nebraska just to name a few. Parties OVER!!!! The streak had become an obession for me. It was really something I looked forward to. But as someone once said, “All good things must come to an end.”
“Yes, they call me the STREAK.” Another song by Ray Stevens. I’m not the greatest Wildcat fan, but man do I love them. Well, I’ll just have to start another one. Because I like to STREAK!!!!
It’s really not about winning or losing. It’s about supporting something you really believe in. Good Luck in Lubbock!!!! The pass happy Red Raiders are a big challenge.

GEAUX CATS!!!!!!!!!!!

Governor’s Cup is home!!!!! Words have not been made to describe how I feel about this Wildcat victory. I just want to extend my middle finger towards the University at Lawrence.
Saturday after the game I walked to my truck to leave and I noticed my back tire was low. So decided to go to Wal-Mart to get it fixed. After an hour and a half waiting, I was told they did not find anything wrong with tire. I was also informed that they had a rash of flat and slashed tires. All this occurred after the football game Saturday.

Last year the Huskers played in Lawrence, many Husker fans staying at a hotel had slashed tires. University at Lawrence a class act. Why the University at Lawrence? Because they can’t decide if it is Kansas University or University of Kansas. So I decided for them. University at Lawrence.

Geaux Cats!!!!!

The story goes like this. I had no like or dislike for KSU or KU until 1984. Then visiting my GrandMother in Manhattan for a medical prodecure. I witnessed something that would change my life forever. We were traveling south along Sunset Ave. near the intersection of Sunset and Anderson. I can still visualize it to this day. On the eastside of Sunset hung from an apartment a clothe sign that read “SCREW KU” in the KU colors. HHHHHMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!
At the time I did not really understand, but as a K-State student I learned to understand the significance of this event. And as I meet more and more KU students/alumni I became more aware of the difference in the type of people who attend these universities. Individuals who make this country strong attend KSU. K-State students/alumni are REAL PEOPLE.

GEAUX CATS!!!!!!!!!

The OU Schooner runs over Wildcats. OU’s crowd noice too much for the young Wildcats. Having the punter on the field during punt formation is apparently optional for the KSU. Result two points for OU, who did not need them anyway.
I still Love you KSU !!!!Click Here to see the pictures.

As you know its my favorite day of the week. I’ll be traveling to Oklahoma. According to Oklahoma’s website, the Sooner name came from the Oklahoma land rush in the late 1800’s. The U.S. Government decide to give land away. This land had already been promised to the Native Americans. Another story don’t get me started. So the story goes to start the race, the U.S. Government was going to fire a cannon. The individuals who started the race at the cannon shot were called Boomers. AKA the cannon fire BOOM. Those who started the race before the cannon was fired later became referred to as the Sooners. AKA Sooner than the cannon fire.
Read it on their own website:Oklahoma website
