Gayhawks show true colors which include all of the colors in the Rainbow!
No Bowling. Word has it that KU would not get a bowl bid because their fans traditionally do not support the football program. Maybe next year.

Tragedy struck the Wildcat Family. A Wildcat fan on the CatTracker bus was pronounced dead at the scene of a one vehicle accident in Lawrence at 11:30 am. Another was air lifted to a Kansas City hospital with life-threatening injuries. A lesson to us all.

On a good note, the Purple Mafia won over Tennessee Tech, 101 - 79. I was fortunate to make it back to Manhappiness to witness the Wildcat Victory. This was the first time in several years the Cats surpassed the century mark. Congratulations Cats!

Upset Alert!, Cats Phenomenal! 45 vs. 42
Wildcats pull out the biggest upset of the 2006 college football season. Cats defeated the #3 ranked Longhorns at Manhappiness. This is the highest ranked opponent to enter the Little Apple in the history of K-State football and leave with a defeat. The crowd noise was phenomenal. Ron Prince and his staff out coached a superior football program. Coach Prince was Bold and Daring. Congratulations!!
The Purple Mafia took the court and defeated both William & Mary (as promised by Coach Huggins) 70 to 60. The Wildcats had difficulty making shots but out rebounded the Tribe. More practice is needed to shape this team into a winner, but Coach Huggins will do it.

Willie’s warmin’ up the Purple grill and licking his chops for Longhorn T-Bones. The Cats have nothing to lose and the Longhorns got everything to lose. The Cats must not turn the ball over in order challenge the Longhorns. Anything can happen, that’s why they play the game.
The Purple Mafia takes the hard court for their first game of round ball against William & Mary.

Wildcats can go bowling with the required sixth victory, if they get invited. Cats look to get at least one more victory before the season ends. Next week Cats take on the Longhorns at 7pm Saturday. Before the Cats take the field, the Purple Mafia will play their official opening game of round ball. KSU had a thrilling 3 OT win over Wasburn.

Wildcats looking to Bluff the Buffaloes!
Wildcats go to CU and try to get a rare victory in the Rocky Mountains. It is a game the Cats can win. Consistent offense and a Lynch Mob defense is the formula for a Wildcat Victory. Good Luck Cats!!
I have elected not to attend this game, because it is on TV and The Purple Mafia makes its debut Saturday night in Manhappiness.
