WildCat Weekends! No other place I would want to be except if the Cats are on the road. The B-Bears are the next opponent in the cross hairs. The formula for a Wildcat Victory is simple play sound football. Great defense, good special teams, run the football, create turnovers against the opponent and limit Wildcat turnovers.

Cats fight hard but the Pokes fought back. Pokes 41 - Cats 39. Stillwater is an awesome place to see a football game. And the Pokes are completing renovation on their stadium. Soon to be the “THE BEST Stadium” in the Big 12. Thanks to Boone Pickens who donated 165 Million Dollars.

No prediction here tonight. Question? Can the Cats slow down the rushing attach of the Pistol Pete’s?

What the Cats need in order for a WildCat Victory?

1. Limit the OSU offense to less than 150 yards of rushing.
2. One score for the Cats on a kick return or a punt return.
3. A Cat pick-six for a TD.
4. Cats need at least a 100 to a buck 50 rushing.
5. Finally, a good offensive game plan.
a. Throwing to the TE.
b. Use Jordy Nelson as a decoy for Deon Murphy to catch passes.
c. An of course, a trick play to catch the Pokes off guard.

P.S. Some Ol’ School Lynch Mob wouldn’t hurt!

I’ll be there.

Wildcat Fans, I’m beginning to see a pattern here. It looks as if we may not know which team is going to play on Saturday. There appears to be two Wildcat Football teams. One who can play with anyone on any given Saturday or a team that beats it’s self. It seemed to me this K-State team is better prepared for Big game opponents and not ready for other opponents. Meaning when the season is on the line, Wildcat coaches and players respond. This could be a product of inexperienced coaching. Over time one would think these issue can be worked out.

Anyway, this weekend K-State was good for ah, WILDCAT VICTORY!

Cat Fans, I have struggled with last weekends meltdown to the Gayhawks. Clearly the Cats were out coached and out played. We can dwell on the defeat or move forward to VICTORY! This is what I like about the Wildcats. They are a slice of life. We can’t always get what we all want in life. The K-State Wildcats are a good example of life. When the Cats loose, it cuts deep. But when they win, A Wildcat Victory taste, oh so sweet! Just remember when the Cats stunned the college football world in 2003 at the Big 12 Championship. That was absolutely glorious. When you are suppose to win, it does not feel as good as when you are the underdog. And the Cats have been the underdog, time after time. Look at Texas or Notre Dame, they loose one game and the season is gone. Life is not like that. This country was not founded like that.
During the American Revolution, George Washington won only one battle in the first year of the Revolution. But he hung in there and a Great Nation was born.
Hang in there, the Wildcat Nation is about to explode.
